	Chile por la Paz
		Fundación Paz Mundial. «El objetivo general del premio es ayudar a crear una mayor conciencia sobre el valor de la paz, promoviendo las acciones positivas en el ser humano. Creemos que el premio es un estímulo poderoso, para motivar a la ciudadanía de nuestro país y del mundo a trabajar por la paz, creando un medio propicio para el desarrollo de la solidaridad y la fraternidad entre los seres humanos.» Chile

	Ciudades por la Paz
		UNESCO. «El Premio UNESCO Ciudades por la paz recompensa iniciativas municipales que permiten consolidar la cohesión social, mejorar las condiciones de vida en los barrios más vulnerables y crear una convivencia urbana armoniosa. La UNESCO da una visibilidad internacional a las iniciativas más innovadoras llevadas a cabo por las ciudades candidatas al incluirlas en la base de datos "La ciudad: red de culturas" que puede consultarse pulsando aquí.» Internacional

	Felipa Awards
		«The International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC) seeks to honor an organization or an individual that has made significant contributions toward securing the full enjoyment of the human rights of all people and communities subject to discrimination or abuse on the basis of sexual orientation or expression, gender identity or expression, and/or HIV status, anywhere in the world. Through this award, we hope to bring about public recognition to an organization or individual committed to the struggle for human rights. We seek nominations for organizations and individuals from all regions of the world and from as wide a range of communities as possible. 	Four Freedoms Awards
		«On January 6, 1941, President Roosevelt proclaimed that four freedoms are essential to a flourishing democracy: freedom of speech and expression, freedom of worship, freedom from want, and freedom from fear. Each year, to encourage leadership in fulfilling President Roosevelt's vision of the Four Freedoms, the Roosevelt Institute honors outstanding individuals who have demonstrated a lifelong commitment to these ideals.» EEUU - inglés

	Franklin D. Roosevelt International Disability Award
		«The Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt Institute and the World Committee on Disability established the Franklin Delano Roosevelt International Disability Award on the fiftieth anniversary of the United Nations on October 24, 1995. The Award recognizes and encourages progress by nations toward the fulfillment of the goal of the United Nations World Programme of Action Concerning Disabled Persons. The World Programme prescribes how nations, communities, organizations, religions and people of goodwill everywhere can and must expand the participation of people with disabilities for economic, humanitarian and social reasons.» EEUU - inglés

	Les lauréats du prix Nobel de de la paix (1901-1999)
		Verdiana Grossi & Patrick Muttner. «Conscients que l’éducation à la culture de la paix se construit à travers des exemples, nous avons contribué à ce domaine en réalisant ce site internet, destiné en priorité aux maîtres et aux élèves des écoles secondaires, mais également à toute personne ou ONG intéressée par la paix et les droits de l’homme. Nous avons ainsi choisi de travailler sur les lauréats du Prix Nobel de la paix. Cette récompense, instituée en 1901, a l’avantage de s'étendre tout au long du XXème siècle et d’avoir été attribuée à plus d’une centaine de personnalités appartenant à 30 pays ainsi qu’à des organisations gouvernementales et non-gouvernementales. A travers ces itinéraires individuels et l’oeuvre accomplie par les institutions, émergent les diverses façons de résoudre les conflits : la voie juridique, le réformisme social, les combats en faveur de la démocratie et des droits de l’homme, l’abolition de l’apartheid et de la discrimination raciale, le dialogue inter-religieux, l’humanitaire, le désarmement, la résolution pacifique des conflits et l’éducation à la paix.» Internacional Suiza

	Millenium Peace Prize for Women
		«On International Women's Day 2001, International Alert and the United Nations Development Fund for Women presented the first Millennium Peace Prize for Women. The award was the first of its kind to specifically honour the vital role that women play in peacebuilding and the indispensable contributions that women have made to resolving and preventing violent conflict. The Millennium Peace Prize was inspired by the hundreds of testimonies of the incredible and often unrecognised efforts of women who are working to bring peace to war-affected communities world-wide. The recognition of women’s international peacebuilding work has been very poor - in its 100 years, only 10 of 106 Nobel Peace Prize winners have been women or women’s organisations.» Internacional

	Nansen Refugee Award
		UNHCR. «An important part of each World Refugee Day celebration is the Nansen Refugee Award ceremony which is held on this special day. Formerly known as the Nansen Medal, this almost fifty-year-old prize is named after the Norwegian arctic explorer Fridtjof Nansen, who was appointed in 1921 by the UN's predecessor, the League of Nations, to be the very first High Commissioner for Refugees. The Award, consisting of a medal and a $100,000 monetary prize, is given out yearly to a person or group who excels in supporting refugee causes.» Internacional

	Premi d’assaig “Manuel Castillo” sobre la Pau
		Patronat Sud-Nord de la Fundació General de la Universitat de València. «Amb la finalitat d’aprofundir en els objectius fundacionals del Patronat Sud-Nord i de fer efectiu el desig i l’honorabilitat del professor i periodista Manuel Castillo, aquest Patronat de la Universitat de València, convoca un premi d’investigació sobre la pau amb l’aportació de les rendes del llegat d’aquest prohom valencià.» España

	Premi Solidaritat
		«El objetivo del Premi Solidaridad, que otorga el Institut de Drets Humans de Catalunya, es el de reconocer a aquellos ciudadanos o entidades que hayan destacado en su lucha por la defensa de los Derechos Humanos y premia aquellas personas o instituciones, que trabajen en Catalunya, que destaquen por su lucha en defensa de los derechos humanos en el ámbito de Catalunya. El premiado es escogido entre aquellas propuestas que cada año presentan distintas instituciones y particulares, acompañando la documentación y currículum que los acredite. El premiado recibe una obra de un artista consagrado que la cede de forma desinteresada.» España

	Premi Voluntariat
		Generalitat de Catalunya. Institut Català del Voluntariat. «En el nostre país, Catalunya, la major part del món associatiu funciona a partir del voluntariat i desenvolupa unes actuacions d'interès general. L'associacionisme és una expressió cívica de la participació i la iniciativa ciutadanes, i canalitza el compromís de les persones per una societat més justa. La Generalitat de Catalunya, per mitjà de l'Institut Català del Voluntariat (INCAVOL) vol potenciar el voluntariat i donar-li suport. Amb aquesta finalitat, es convoca anualment el Premi Voluntariat.» España

	Premio a los Derechos Humanos del Consejo de Europa
		«In 1980 the Committee of Ministers adopted Resolution (80) 1 containing regulations on a European human rights prize. Under the terms of these regulations, the purpose of the prize is to reward individual or group activities which have made an exceptional contribution to the cause of human rights. It is an honorary prize awarded, in principle, every three years.» Europa

	Premio ABC Universitario Solidario
