Il concerne plutôt des artistes qui ont pour première exigence d'analyser ce qui permet à l’art d’être art, analyse qui elle-même se conduit selon deux grandes orientations. D’une part, avec un artiste comme Sol LeWitt, suivi de Dan Graham, l’Art conceptuel reçoit une acception large, fondée sur l’affirmation de la primauté de l’idée sur la réalisation. En conséquence, tout un pan de l’histoire de l’art peut être qualifié de "conceptuel", depuis le 15e siècle avec l'appartenance de la peinture aux arts libéraux où le travail de l'esprit tient la plus grande part : l'art est "cosa mentale" avait écrit Léonard de Vinci. 	Art to the People
		International Institute of Social History, INSH. «To bring art to the people: that is what Walter Crane, Théophile-Alexandre Steinlen, Albert Hahn, Frans Masereel and Gerd Arntz, the five artists in this on-line exhibition wanted. They made prints in large editions and illustrations in popular magazines instead of paintings. In this way, they could reach a large audience, and what's more: an audience that would never visit a museum. Art not only had to reach ordinary people, it also had to contribute to social change. Crane, Steinlen, Hahn, Masereel and Arntz adapted their subjects and style to their political convictions. They depicted daily life, social problems and the struggle for a better society. Their best work is as valid today as when it was created, from the 1880s to the 1930s. Etre un artiste Arte Povera, c’est adopter un comportement qui consiste à défier l’industrie culturelle et plus largement la société de consommation, selon une stratégie pensée sur le modèle de la guérilla. Dans ce sens, Arte Povera est une attitude socialement engagée sur le mode révolutionnaire. Ce refus de l’identification et cette position politique se manifestent par une activité artistique qui privilégie elle aussi le processus, autrement dit le geste créateur au détriment de l’objet fini. En somme, en condamnant aussi bien l’identité que l’objet, Arte Povera prétend résister à toute tentative d’appropriation. 		«La casa fué construida hacia 1800 y en 1820 fue ofrecida al Libertador como agradecimiento por la victoria sobre los españoles. Bolívar habitó la casa hasta 1830, y la compartió con Manuelita Saenz durante cuatro años. La Quinta, declarada Monumento Nacional en 1975, muestra donde transcurría la vida cotidiana del Libertador: el vestíbulo, su dormitorio, comedor, sala de juegos, biblioteca, pesebreras, graneros, patio interior con fuente, sus siete salas, y sus magníficos jardines. Igualmente se conservan allí, documentos, armas, trajes, planos, medallas y objetos que le pertenecieron.» Colombia

		«Inaugurado en 1978, su sede fue residencia del maestro, lugar de trabajo y estudio durantelos últimos cuarenta años de su vida. El museo cuenta con un total de 342 obras expuestas. 	Cerámica y Cultura
		La historia de la mayólica española y mexicana. Museo de Arte Popular Internacional. «Mayólica es un término español que se refiere a un método específico de vidriar la loza de barro. Los primeros vidrios que fueron desarrollados en el Cercano y Medio Oriente empleaban el plomo. Estos vidrios eran transparentes, pero con la adición de ciertos minerales, tales como manganeso-pardo o cobre-verde, era posible pintar diseños en un vidrio de plomo porque las pinturas no se fijaban. Entonces, en el siglo IX hubo un descubriemiento notable: por añadir óxido de estaño al vidrio de plomo se podía crear una superficie blanca opaca que cubría el color del barro y servía para pintarse. Esta coyuntura y las recomendaciones de la Misión Kemmerer acerca del papel que debería cumplir el Banco en apoyo del patrimonio cultural del país, son las raíces de la colección del Museo del Oro. Así mismo, con el rigor y seriedad que siempre lo distinguieron, el Banco inició la acumulación de una colección bibliográfica y hemerográfica para las propias necesidades institucionales, que culminó con la apertura al público de estas colecciones hasta llegar a la fundación de la Biblioteca Luis Ángel Arango.
