Descripción: IST. Instituto Superior Técnico. ISR. Instituto de Sistemas e Robótica «My research interests lie in the areas of Computer Vision and Vision-based Navigation of Robotic Systems.
We have explored the knowledge of biological vision systems in order to develop vision-based navigation and control systems. We consider both the biologically-inspired computer vision processes, sensor geometry (space variant binocular tracking, omnidirectional vision, etc) and representations (spatial, resolution, etc) in an integrated manner.
