Descripción: «The Society offers a programme of six lectures annaully on various book-related subjects at regular intervals between October and March, and occasional visits to some of the memorable libraries of the region during the summer. The Society is broadly based, studying subjects not exclusively antiquarian, and mixes instruction with sociability by holding its meetings in the Wolfe Room of the Black Swan Inn on Peasholme Green, usually on the third Tuesday of the month.»
