Descripción: «The Applied Psychometric Society (APS) is a organization of professionals with graduate degrees in psychometrics and related fields founded and led by Ph.D. candidates studying at Fordham University. APS is dedicated to continual development of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the steady progress of psychometric research, application of psychometric principles to achieve goals in industrial and organizational settings, and education of successive generations of psychometricians. Towards these ends APS actively promotes increased communication among professionals in a variety of fields and settings related to psychometrics. This web site is one of a number of programs instituted by APS to facilitate the communication and cooperation that will strengthen the field and ultimately expand the understanding, fairness, and validity of psychological measurement.»
