Descripción: «The Egyptian Society of South Africa fosters an appreciation of the history and culture of ancient Egypt in particular, as well as modern Egypt. We promote and encourage the work of the South African Cultural History Museum with regard to the Egyptian collection, which is housed in the Slave Lodge in Cape Town. Members have free access to the Society's Lending & Reference Library in Cape Town. Monthly meetings comprise lectures, video presentations, films and visits to relevant places.»
