To improve the health of the citizens of Tennessee by assisting TAHC members in providing high quality health care at a reasonable cost. To develop and promote high standards of ethical and professional conduct for all providers of home care. To cooperate with other organizations in integrating home care into the continuum of comprehensive health care. To protect the health, rights and confidences of every patient by providing competent home health services with compassion and respect for human dignity. To provide a strong and unified voice in speaking on matters of concern for TAHC members and home care recipients. To promote understanding and cooperation among home care providers. To provide a mechanism for communication, planning, education and research in matters relevant to home care needs, and to disseminate appropriate information throughout Tennessee.»
