Descripción: «The Society was established in 1950 and is the national charity in the UK of and for people with haemophilia, von Willebrand?s and related bleeding disorders. There is a head office in central London with a full-time staff of 11 and 3 volunteers and an office in Glasgow with one full-time and one part-time staff member. The Society has over 2000 members and a network of 17 local groups throughout the UK.We provide information, advice and support services relevant to people with haemophilia, von Willebrand?s and related disorders, and we advocate and campaign to secure the best possible care and treatment.»
