AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALAND ENVIRONMENTAL MUTAGEN SOCIETY (ANZEMS)

Enlace: http://www.mepsa.org/

Descripción: «MEPSA was created from two long-existing scholarly bodies, the Australasian Society for Experimental Pathology (ASEP) and the Australian and New Zealand Environmental Mutagen Society (ANZEMS), following a successful Joint Scientific Meeting by the two societies held at Mt. Buller, Victoria, in 1997. The goals of MEPSA remain in essence identical with the original goals of ASEP and ANZEMS, namely:
To bring together people interested in all aspects of experimental pathology including environmental mutagenesis. To promote scientific discourse and exchange, and the advancement of knowledge in these areas by supporting and promoting research, and by organising Annual Scientific Meetings. To provide a critical but friendly scholarly environment at the Annual Scientific Meetings particularly to encourage and foster young Research Student participation and public presentation of their work. To welcome and support specialty research groups within MEPSA and to provide an environment for their development of internationally recognised excellence. To collaborate with international and other regional societies with interests in experimental pathology and environmental mutagenesis.»
