«The Research Centre for Chemical Processes Engineering and Forest Products (CIEPQPF) was created in 1994 and is located in the Chemical Engineering Department of the University of Coimbra. The study of modern Chemical Engineering and the study of the process of pulp and paper production are the two main objectives of the Centre. In general, the research groups work in these two scientific domains. The Centre has beneficed, since 1996, of the Pluri-Annual Financing Program from FCT.»
