Descripción: «C-MADE is a newly formed research Centre of Universidade da Beira Interior (UBI), developing fundamental and applied research in the fields of materials and building technologies. C-MADE research activities are centralized on the development of prototypes of new building products and solutions, long-lasting, having better mechanical behavior, being environmentally sustainable and energy efficient as well as for pollution control. C-MADE is constituted by a small group of researchers with diverse knowledge, skills and competences on scientific research, given it a multidisciplinary nature. Although this centre was recently constituted (July 2007), its members have relevant experience of working together in common projects, in past few years.»
