«After preliminary work in the less important parts of the building, restoration work has been undertaken in the main historic part of the complex since 1994. Based on the philosophy that the complex should be considered as a compilation of historic elements, each of them the testimony of a certain period, all rooms were carefully rehabilitated. With great sensibility and flexibility solutions were found for every single part of the building, respecting both its authenticity and its history. Where necessary modern adaptations have been skilfully blended in with their monumental surroundings.»
