«Human Movement Science provides a forum for bringing together psychological, (neuro)physiological and biophysical research on human movement. Recognising the fast changing nature of the field, editorial policy is sensitive to new lines of approach and to innovative theories. This standpoint is reflected both in the composition of the editorial board and the focus of special issues. Animal studies, insofar as their significance to human movement is made clear, are equally acceptable. The nature of the research to be reported may vary from fundamental studies of motor control and learning, including the perceptual support of movement, to more applied studies in the fields of, for example, sport, dance and rehabilitation.»
