«Ergonomics is an international multi-disciplinary refereed journal with a 40 year tradition of publishing excellence. Ergonomics is concerned with all aspects of the interactions of human beings and their work and leisure. The contents of the journal report research results on the psychological, physiological, anatomical, and engineering design aspects, being particularly concerned with optimising both system performance and safety, health and well-being. Research data from developed and developing countries is reported Ergonomics (or human factors), as defined by the International Ergonomics Association, is the scientific discipline concerned with interactions between humans and other elements of a system in carrying out a purposeful activity. Ergonomics aims to improve human well-being and overall system performance by optimising human-system compatibility, for which the design considerations include physical, cognitive, social, organisational and environmental factors.»
