«The new journal Comptes Rendus Palevol covers the fields of Palaeontology, Prehistory and Evolution. Articles presented are original notes describing briefly an important discovery, short review papers, or historic chronicles. The heading entitled Perspective gathers short articles written by associate editors who are particularly aware of specific fields, and are thus able to situate their articles in a wider scientific environment than that used for the first report of a discovery.»
